Biologist Pierre Joliot, photosynthesis pioneer and grandson of Pierre and Marie Curie, dies at 94
The son of Nobel laureates Irène and Frédéric Joliot-Curie made groundbreaking discoveries in plant physiology, particularly in photosynthesis. He passed away during the night of October 9 to 10.
