IMF Sees MENAP Economy Contracting 1.3% In 2026, Rebounding In 2027
The IMF has cut its 2026 forecast for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan region to a 1.3% contraction and sees growth rebounding to 6.6% in 2027 if the Middle East war abates and trade normalizes.
