Star Wars' Daisy Ridley will be heading a new reboot of a classic sci-fi movie and TV show. Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea originally started as a 1961 film directed by Irwin Allen (The Poseidon Disaster), before the director created a TV series in 1964 on ABC. Both the movie and the TV series followed Commander Lee Crane on board the nuclear submarine, the Seaview, for its maiden voyage.
