Five planes operated by different airlines in Europe received bomb threats, Reuters reported. Two of the incidents involved planes bound for Warsaw. A LOT flight from London was forced to land at Modlin Airport instead of Warsaw’s main airport, Chopin, after receiving a threat. An SAS plane flying from Copenhagen landed at its intended destination and was then searched. Modlin Airport suspended operations for several hours.
