The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia-based Ardisis to carry out an extensive 2D seismic survey across Egypt’s Western Desert, covering 110,000 square kilometers, equivalent to around 11% of the country’s total area. The project aims to update exploration data and identify promising new areas for oil and gas exploration.
