The Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) six member states signed an agreement in Bahrain Sunday to advance a regional railway network linking their national transport systems, with the project 55.9% complete and full operations targeted for December 2030, as the bloc's transport and storage sector recorded 5.7% real growth in 2025.
